Bear Cabins provides a selection of five beautifully appointed rental cabins in
the Smokey Mountains of North Carolina. Mountain Bear Cabins, in conjunction
with Smoky Mountain Getaways in Bryson City, offers three
wonderful Smoky Mountain cabins in the heart of North Carolina's Smoky
Mountains. Conveniently located to Great Smoky Mountains National Park,
The Blue Ridge Parkway, Fontana Lake, the Nantahala River Gorge, and the towns
of Bryson City, Cherokee, and Dillsboro, our Smoky Mountain cabins are
a great place to start your mountain adventure. We are in the heart of
it all with Gatlinburg/Piegon Forge and Asheville about an hour away.
Our Smoky mountain cabins are really fine crafted vacation homes
offering the best of the Smokies at your doorstep. Each of our Smoky Mountain
cabins provides a different experience and are located within 30-35 minutes of
each of other. Bear Trax and Bear Pause are side by side - about 200
feet apart. Planning a family reunion they can sleep up to 20 people
collectively.

Bears Den is a 3
bedroom, 3 bathroom Smoky Mountain cabin. It is located on the
east end of the Nantahala River Gorge at an elevation of 2,200
feet just outside of Bryson City. Bear's Den is kid friendly, pet
friendly, kayaker friendly, mountain biker friendly place to
be. Bear's Den is the heart of the Nantahala-Fontana Lake
Region of the Smokies less than 10 minutes to Tsali Recreation
Area-Fontana Lake and 5 minutes to the Nantahala River. If paddle sports,
mountain biking or horseback riding are your sports, then Bear's Den is the
place for you. For your winter comfort and romance, Bear's Den has a wood
burning fire place and Hot Springs spa. |

Bear
Necessities is a custom 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom arts-n-craft
Smoky Mountain vacation home located on a ridge between
Whittier and Dillsboro at an elevation of
approximately 2,800 feet. Bear Necessities is within 15 minutes to Cherokee,
Great Smoky Mountains National Park and the casino. Dillsboro
is within 10 minutes and great winter skiing in Cataloochee is about 30 minutes
away in Maggie Valley. When your day of snow skiing is done kick back in the spa
and watch the sunset over the crest of the Smokies and Clingmans'
Dome. Come inside and warm up to a hot fire in the wood burning fire
place and relax under the stars in private in the Hot Springs spa. |

Bear Trax is
a custom 3 bedroom, 3 bath Smoky Mountain log home located
on ridge behind Bryson City with an excellent east view of Balsam Mountain and
great Smoky mountain sunrises. Bear Trax features a jetted tub, high defintion
televisions, home theater system and more. Click on Bear Trax here and then

5 minutes from Deep Creek area of Great Smoky Mountians
National Park and 20 minutes to Cherokee and the Nantahala Region. Stay
with us in Bryson City and snow ski in
Cataloochee in about 45 minutes in Maggie
Valley. For your winter comfort and romance, Bear Trax offers a gas log
fireplace and Hot Springs Spa. |

Lazy Bear Lodge is a spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bath
handbuilt custom log home. Lazy Bear is pet friendly. While
Lazy Bear is perhaps our most rustic home with its rough interior logs, exposed
beams and heart pine floors, it is also finely equipped with a new remodled
kitchen, a brand new Hot Spring spa, refinished claw foot tub, gas log fire
place, new central heat and air, home theater system and more. All the
furnishings are new and the outdoor area with huge fire pit is one of the best
amenities of the place. Lazy Bear is secluded and sits on
nearly 5 acres just below Jackson County's Pinnacle Park. Lazy
Bear has a great view and is within 10 minutes or less to
Dillsboro and Sylva. Lazy Bear is about 20 to
25 minutes to the ski area of Cataloochee/ Ghost Town in the
Sky in Maggie Valley and about 20 minutes to

Bear Pause is our newest log home in Bryson City. Bear
Pause is handicap accessible with a generours ramp, 36" interior doors,
handicap accessible master suite. It is a great home for families or a
weekend away for a couple. Bear Pause has a great view of the
mountains, hot tub, fantastic entertainment center with a 52 inch high
definition TV and is also next to Bear Trax. Need a place for a family
gathering. Choose Bear Pause and Bear Trax as we can accomodate 20
guests. |
