Bear Trax is a 3 bedroom 3 bath log home just behind Bryson City on a ridge around 2,300 feet. It sits on a 1.5 acres atop a ridge in the quiet Smoky Mountian community of Smoky Mountain Heights. It is on a country lane and Bear Pause is about 200 feet away next door.  Both Bear Pause and Bear Trax make a great place for a family reunion. Spectacular Smoky Mountain sunrises can be viewed from the rear deck.   The home is 2.3 miles from the quaint mountain town of Bryson City and only a little over 1 mile from the Tuckaseegee River and the Fontana Lake Park with boat ramp.

Inside Bear Trax you will find 3 spacious bedrooms each with their own full bath. The master suite features a KING size bed, sitting area and jetted tub. We have equipped the home with high definition TVs including a 37 inch plasma in the main living area. We also offer a home a theater system, so bring your favorite DVDs or CDs to listen to. The great room also features a gas log fireplace as well. The kitchen is a galley style and is fully equipped for all your cooking needs.

Bear Trax is furnished with Appalachian Hickory pieces throughout the house and leather sleeper sofa is quite comfortable both to sit upon and to sleep.  The sleeper sofa mattress is also memory foam based and is very supportive and comfortable. It is perhaps the most comfortable sleeper mattress on the market today. The 2 queens and 1 King mattress were are all purchased new in 2007.

Outside Bear Trax the Hot Springs 6 seater spa and the great view awaits you.  The back porch also features rocking chairs and dinning for 4. The front porch faces the neighboring pasture and trees. The grill sits under cover on the front porch of the home. You may grill or smoke your dinner on the Brinkman Grill and relax in the chairs to take in Smoky Mountain Time!

Bear Trax is motorcycle friendly with paved access and a nice garage to protect your ride from the elements. There is ample room for a motor cycle trailer as well.
