Bear Necessities - Amenities Info
Our Commitment to you. Your vacation time is important, shouldn't the place you stay reflect the same attitude?
The attitude of some people is to use the cheapest stuff they can find for the cabin...after all it is only a rental. We see things differently. We strive to equip our homes with some of the best quality furniture, bedding and audio video equipment we can buy...after all it is YOUR Vacation. Welcome to Smoky Mountain Time!
Bear Necessities Location
Bear Necessities was built in 2001. It is a custom arts-n-craft style Smoky Mountain Cabin located between Whittier and Dillsboro, North Carolina just off US 74. This lovely Smoky Mountain Cabin sits on 1.25 secluded acres atop a ridge at about 2,800 feet. If you are looking for a Smoky Mountain Cabin with spectacular views of Great Smoky Mountains National Park, then look no further. Bear Necessities is within a restricted Smoky mountain community with community maintained roads and easily accessed with a 2-wheel-drive vehicle throughout most of the year. Snow does occur here in the winter and an all wheel drive vehicle during a heavy snow would be beneficial.
